There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.

It’s wonderful when you can be lifted up through worship. I’m not talking about mind over matter; I’m talking about faith over circumstances. I’m not talking about positive thinking; I’m talking about honoring God, who is still on the throne no matter what you’re going through.

You’re not God’s solution to society, but a solution in society. Imitate Paul, who said, “Our goal is to stay within the boundaries of God’s plan for us” (2 Cor. 10:13 NLT). Clarify your contribution.

Don’t worry about skills you don’t have. Don’t covet strengths others do have. Just extract your uniqueness. “Kindle afresh the gift of God which is in you” (2 Tim. 1:6 NASB).

We shouldn’t be intimidated by prayer. We don’t need to wonder if we are doing it “the right way” or if we are saying “the right thing.” God simply wants us to be in an intimate relationship with Him, and He knows that maintaining an ongoing conversation with Him throughout our days is the best plan.
