Knowing that the disciples

Knowing that the disciples are going to suffer a great deal of uncertainty in the upcoming days, Jesus gives them a couple of reassurances. He tells them they will have eternity in heaven, and He tells them He is going to send the Holy Spirit to be with them.

We have the same assurances today. Right now, while we are living, the Holy Spirit is in us teaching us what we need to know. One day our lives will end, and we will take up residence in the place Jesus has prepared for us. Regardless of what trouble we experience, these important promises will never be broken.
