Our sole goal is to avoid hell, which we accomplish by repenting and asking for forgiveness on a daily basis. You want to stay on the straight and narrow. You can research all day, and everyone has their own idea of what hell is, so as a Christian, you must hold to what the Bible says, not your own idea of what it is, because you don't want to end up there.
