Why is spiritual maturity an ongoing pursuit rather than a one-time goal?

An authentic spiritual life doesn’t come through rituals, budgets, programs, buildings, or even religion. Spiritual life, power, and strength come from the Spirit. The closer you are to the Spirit, the more abundant life you experience and the more influence you carry out (John 10:10; 15:7).

An important part of maturing spiritually comes from finding healing in those areas that hold you back. Forgiveness frees you from the slavery of self-pity and blame.

It’s time we awaken ourselves not only spiritually but also culturally, so we will take to the field and overcome the enemy’s opposition at hand.
